Welcome to Le Petit Roc
Le Petit Roc is an 18th century farm nestling in the rolling countryside of Sud Charente, a bike ride away from the charming village of Aubeterre situated on the River Dronne, the border between the Charente and the Dordogne.
Bought over in 2016 to be used primarily as a family retreat, the main farmhouse, barn and cottage have all been renovated to a high standard whilst retaining many of the original features and their rustic charm. Set within four acres of private gardens and woodland, Le Petit Roc also boasts an exceptionally large, 18 x 7m, beach entry heated swimming pool with diving board plus tennis court.
Les Marronniers, Le Figuier and Le Pommier are our three gites to hire that provide a range of accommodation options suitable for any size of party up to a total of sixteen. Each gite comes with a well-equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, Air Conditioning plus entertainment such as TV, DVD and Wii Consoles.
It is also a great location for walking, cycling, horse riding, kayaking plus many other activities and interests in the area. For those who enjoy their fine wine, St Emilion is less than an hour's drive away, as is Cognac. Bordeaux is also an easy day trip.
Le Petit Roc is a favourite venue for families and friends who are seeking a peaceful and relaxing environment where you can recharge your batteries, whilst taking advantage of the facilities and surrounding countryside to make it an active and healthy get-away.
Getting here is easy with access by plane (both Bordeaux and Bergerac airports are just over an hour’s drive away), train and car.
